ALS Recertification

A half-day refresher that is mostly scenarios, followed by the same assessment as the full course. Suitable for experienced clinicians maintaining skills under their workplace policy.

Based in Melbourne. Training across Victoria, and interstate for the right group.

Recertification is for teams that are already trained and need to stay current. It skips the teaching your team already knows and spends the time on what fades: CPR quality, defibrillation, drug timing and running the team.

Most day surgeries and private hospitals ask for ALS every year. We can run two back-to-back sessions so half the team stays on the floor.

Who it's for

Clinicians who completed an ALS course (ours or another provider's) within the last 18 months, and need to refresh and reassess their skills.

Before you attend

An ALS certificate dated within the last 18 months. About 4 hours of online refresher learning, finished before the day.

What you'll learn

  • Apply any changes in current ANZCOR adult ALS guidelines
  • Deliver and supervise high-quality CPR with minimal interruptions
  • Defibrillate safely in manual mode
  • Lead a resuscitation team through the adult ALS algorithm

Your training day
