Practical CPR and emergency response for nurses and the wider care team.

What your team needs to consider

The strengthened aged care standards address workforce skills and competence. Match training to staff roles, escalation arrangements and residents’ care plans, including decisions about resuscitation.

Courses to consider

  • Basic Life Support: 3 hours, $110 per person inc. GST. CPR and defibrillator use for adults, children and infants, plus choking and anaphylaxis. The course most practices book first.
  • Advanced Life Support: 1 day, $650 per person inc. GST. Running a cardiac arrest from the first minute: rhythm recognition, manual defibrillation, airway, drugs and leading the team. Advanced life support to ALS2 level.

How we run it at your workplace

  • Run repeated BLS sessions so different shifts can attend.
  • Practise calling for help and locating emergency equipment.
  • Document skills assessment and review each person’s development needs.

We bring the training equipment. Your team provides a suitable room, tables and power. On-site groups start at six; we confirm a date and fixed quote before a booking is made.
